Inserting and aligning images
If you have more than one photo, you can insert them into the text thus creating an attractive appearance. To do so, click at the spot where the photo is to appear and then on the Add Media button:
You will be taken to the Media section where you can either Upload Files or select images from the Media Library:
To select more than one image, hold the CTRL-key pressed and click on the image(s). On the right, you should annotate your image. The caption should include the name(s) of displayed persons, place and date when it was taken. When ready, click on Insert into post.
You could have aligned the image right away in the Media section or do it now in the text editor. You can also define the image size and determine where it is to appear in the text. When you click on it, a small toolbar will be displayed on top.
Tip: Nice photographs with a high resolution look best when you make them "big" and place them centered.
Inserting video
It is better to embed a video rather than to link to it. To do so, click on the spot where the video is to be shown and open the Media section by clicking on Insert Media and afterwards on Insert from URL. Copy the link to the video and insert Into the post.
Administering the blog
If you are the person in charge of the blog, there will be further things to do for you, as for instance administering comments, posting or deleting articles and creating pages.
Comments
When there is a new comment, you will be notified in the sidebar, next to Comments. Click on it.
When you move the cursor over the comment, you will see a small toolbar allowing you to Approve, Reply, Quick Edit, Edit, mark as Spam or to Trash it.
Dashboard and Quick Edit
The Posts overview allows for deleting or Quick Editing your posts. You can delete more than one post at a time by selecting the posts to be deleted and then choosing Move to Trash in the Bulk Actions field. If you want to delete or Quick Edit just one post, move your mouse over the post. A small toolbar provides options: Edit Quick Edit Trash and View.
Choose Quick Edit when you want to change the publishing date, choose a category or set tags.
Pages, categories and menu structure (admins only)
